Oak Island Resort Wedding Facilities

Mahone Bay and the legendary Oak Island are rich in history and boast beautiful scenery with many nearby attractions and activities. Resort facilities include:

  • 105 spacious and attractive fully air-conditioned guest rooms – many with spectacular ocean views and balconies.
  • Twelve two-bedroom and a one-bedroom oceanfront cottages with fireplace, large Jacuzzi and outdoor stone fireplaces.
  • Our oceanfront dining room has seating for 100 and our private ocean view-dining area has seating for 300.

Room Options

Bluenose Room A and B

The Bluenose Rooms A and B, both feature panoramic views of Mahone Bay. Separately, each measures 2,162 sq. ft. of adaptable meeting space, and can host up to 180 guests in rounds of 10. Together they offer a combined meeting space of over 4,000 sq. ft. and 360 guests in rounds of 10.

Bluenose Reception Area

The Bluenose Reception Area is an adjoining room to Bluenose B. This reception area provides the ideal way to enhance the overall meeting space for your event, with over 1,100 sq. ft. for mingling before your guests reach Bluenose Rooms A and B.

Bluenose Landing

With access to this outdoor patio, your guests can enjoy cocktails in the summer sea breeze. An open fire grill is located on the patio, ideal for preparing our renowned planked salmon, served fresh to your guests.

Lunenburg Room

Located directly off the Bluenose Reception Area, the room can host up to 50 guests in rounds of 10. Guests can access the outdoor patio directly from Lunenburg Room.

Mahone Room

Located close to all amenities, complete with hardwood floors, the Mahone Room will accommodate up to 120 guests in rounds of 10.

Prefer to conduct your nuptials along the waters edge. Nova Scotia’s Mahone Bay and Oak Island create a spectacular backdrop. Let us work with you to set up a wedding area in front of the cottages to the left of the Marina breakwall. Or elevate your group, to take in the spectacular views from the LaVista Deck, adjacent to LaVista Dining Room.
