The ceremony can take place directly beside the ocean in front of our seaside chalets, or on the La Vista Deck overlooking the waters of Mahone Bay. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, don’t stress, we will have a backup space inside.
Our ceremony set up fee, including chair rental, in front of our chalets is $2.50 per person + HST and on the LaVista Deck the fee is $1.00 per person + HST. This includes a skirted table with chairs for signing. Should you require a more extensive set up, the fees will be modified accordingly.

As we want to ensure a couple’s style and personality are portrayed through the décor we do allow decorating of the reception room. We ask that you refrain from using anything that will puncture the walls/ceiling surfaces such as thumb tacks, pins, hooks, etc.If you require professional decorating, we will be happy to provide you with contact information.
We have a list of local vendors that would be pleased to work with you on wedding. We would be happy to share this list with you when planning all the details.

As the table on the last page depicts, there is a minimum guestroom requirement and it varies depending on which banquet room you use. For example, if you would like to have both Bluenose rooms (A or B), your guestroom block must actualize 25 guestroom nights in total. If you have 10 on one night, and 15 on another night, this will count as 25 guestroom nights. You must guarantee the minimum guestroom block and if the minimum is not actualized, the wedding client is responsible for any remaining rooms.
Rooms must be reserved by your guests up to 90 days in advance of arrival at which time we will review your reservations with you and release for resale the guestrooms that have not be reserved by your guests. Any subsequent reservations will be accepted on an availability basis only. Group rates will not be guaranteed after the room block release date.
We are pleased to offer our wedding groups a preferred group rate for all our guestrooms and chalets; however, do not offer a complimentary guestroom for the bride and groom. Please contact us for details on the guestroom rates (rates vary by season).
