“Everything was wonderful at Oak Island, as usual. Daveda did a great job organizing our group, she is a complete joy to work with, talk to, and be around. I love when I can organize an event at Oak Island so I can be in touch with her. Shane was no doubt the best waiter any of us have ever met! The customer service at Oak Island is top notch, whether it's at the front desk, rooms, restaurant, or any of the meeting rooms. One of the best events we did was the Incredible Dash with Susan; she is just such a great lady and lots of fun. I have to say this was the best event I have coordinated so far, and the chair of the clerical group emailed me when we returned to work and said by all the comments made by the other ladies, this was the best clerical tour yet! As always, my stay was wonderful....I have said to Daveda many times, Oak Island is my very favourite place to stay. I've attended business meetings across Canada for 35 years and have seldom been more impressed with the attention to detail than I was at Oak Island Resort. They were also unfailingly pleasant and smiling in spite of the extraordinarily busy weekend at Oak Island Resort. I really cannot comprehend what had to happen behind the scenes and how you managed to deal with all the details of the two large functions , as well as our little one, last weekend.
